We recently had a customer seeking help with finding a toe stop to help with changing over to a jam plug next. It can be a tricky transition, if you are used to having a toe stop there…then it is not there. I have face planted from that, I mean…I know a skater that face planted from that.
Back to toe stops. We recently lined up all the different stops and plugs to find which one would be the best to recommend.
We highly recommend the Snyder toe stops, size small. That is the one pictured above. Once that feels more natural then make the change to the VNLA Jam plugs. That should help with the transition and get you used to having less to support you at the front of the skates. You can see those stops compared to other larger toe stops in the picture below too. It is the stopper in the lower left side.

After close to 25 years of not skating it is calling me back. I love it and I was good at it, but would I like the music that there going to play today or is it going to drew me away from it ,being that I love the 80’s disco music. Now at the age of 56 would it matter I just want to get loose and do my thing once feeling the floor and the skates again.

Hi Bobby!
The music varies from one rink to another, and from time of day usually. But usually they play a really good mix of old and new music. And if they have a dj booth you can usually go up and request things even!
